The season Finale at the Sioux Valley Cycle Club Shorttrack went off with a BANG! They had the track prepped in a cushion for which rivaled that of the Springfield Shorttrack National. Fastest track We've ever seen there. We finished out the year with a hat trick, winning all 3 Pro mains on the night. Points should be tallied soon so we'll find out how that ended up. Devin and Sheldon Wenz out of Howard, South Dakota, packed up the hauler today and headed in the direction of the AMA Pro Flat Track opener in Daytona. On the way to the prestigious opener, the Wenz brothers will be stopping in Savanna, Georgia on the 26th for some testing followed by the Hot Shoe Nationals on the 28th. After the Georgia run, its off to Neeses, South Carolina for one last test session before Daytona. "I feel really good about Daytona this year, I have my ’06 Suzuki and we'll have some test sessions on the way down there, so I should be up to par,” explains Sheldon. The plans for the Wenz Racing team is to run all the singles AMA Pro events and also fill the remaining dates with the South Dakota local shows.
